He has extensive experience in High Tech, Energy, Telecommunications, Financial Services and Healthcare industries, and has been pivotal in establishing and expanding broader operations worldwide. Scott’s combined experience and mastery in IT strategy; financial systems, project management and systems development make him a vital asset to Mediabrands.
Scott joins Mediabrands from Lowe Worldwide where he was Chief Information/Innovation Officer since 2007. As CIO, Scott implemented his expertise of strategic and operational information technology innovation and enhanced Lowe's growing and evolving global business structure. In addition to managing his post at Lowe, Scott also served as CIO of IPG’s independent agencies. In his role as chief strategist for all technology directions, he worked closely with business and creative teams to develop commercial IT and client facing facilities. Along with his extensive global leadership experience and focus on emerging economies, Scott is adept at introducing original and innovative methods to use web, mobile, network, and display/interface technologies.
Prior to Lowe, Scott was a Senior Executive at Accenture, Avanade (Microsoft) and Deloitte Consulting where he played a key role leading their Emerging Technology Practice areas. His entourage of experiences range from managing global IT initiatives, including large application portfolios like e-Commerce activities, financial systems, digital and major IT infrastructure projects, to ensuring continued excellence in service delivery. In addition, Scott's experience includes IT Leadership for several major Fortune 500 companies.
Scott resides in New York City with his wife Becky and their two daughters.
